Awakening
We awaken by letting go of the illusion of a conceptual, mind-created world. In the process of doing this our imagined separation from the world, from life, from reality fades. You see four birds in this painting. The fourth bird is fading into the background so you can almost no longer see it. The fifth bird cannot be seen at all. The fifth bird is not separate. The fifth bird is awake.
About Peter Cutler
Peter Cutler is an internationally acclaimed artist, photographer and film director. At the young age of 20, he won Nikon Cameras prestigious international photography contest.
